Frequently Asked
Everything you might want to know before ordering. Don't see your question? Reach out.
How fast do you ship?
Most orders ship within a week of being placed. Once your order is on its way, you'll receive a tracking link by email. We currently ship anywhere in the continental United States.
What does "raw and unfiltered" actually mean?
Raw means the honey is never heated above natural hive temperatures, so all the enzymes, pollen, and natural antioxidants stay intact. Unfiltered means we don't strain out the fine particles of pollen and propolis that give honey its character. What ends up in your jar is essentially what comes out of the comb.
My honey crystallized — is it still good?
Yes, absolutely. Crystallization is a natural process for raw honey and a sign that you're getting the real thing. To liquefy it, place the jar in a bowl of warm (not hot) water for 15 to 20 minutes. Avoid microwaving, which destroys the enzymes that make raw honey special.
How should I store my honey?
Keep it sealed at room temperature in a cool, dry spot away from direct sunlight. Honey lasts essentially forever when stored properly. No need to refrigerate.
Where does your honey come from?
Every jar comes from our own hives, which are placed across Oregon, primarily in the Willamette Valley and Central Oregon. Different harvests have different floral profiles depending on what was blooming when the bees were foraging.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?
Yes. We sell to restaurants, specialty grocers, and gift shops across Oregon, and our 5 lb bulk jugs are available to anyone. For wholesale account inquiries, give us a call at (541) 977-8848 or email info@prescotthoney.com.
What's your return policy?
