Shipping policy
Where we ship
We ship within the United States only. We're not set up for international orders at the moment.
How long it takes
Every order is packed by hand at our farm in Lebanon, Oregon. Most orders ship within a week of being placed, and once yours is on its way it usually arrives within 2 to 5 business days.
What shipping costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and where it's going, so you'll see the exact cost before you pay. We don't add anything afterwards.
Tracking
You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves the farm. We ship with UPS and USPS — which service your jars travel on depends on the size of the order and where it's headed.
If your honey arrives crystallized
Raw honey crystallizes. It's a sign you're getting the real thing rather than something that's been heated and filtered until it can't, and cold weather in transit makes it happen faster. It hasn't gone bad and it isn't a defect. Stand the jar in warm — not hot — water for fifteen or twenty minutes and it will go clear again. Don't microwave it; that destroys the enzymes that make raw honey worth buying.
If something arrives broken
We pack glass jars carefully, but occasionally one doesn't survive the trip. If your order turns up broken or leaking, email info@prescotthoneyfarms.com within 14 days with your order number and a photo, and we'll send a replacement or refund you — your choice. Hold on to the packaging until we've sorted it out, in case we need to file a claim with the carrier.
Missing or undeliverable packages
If tracking says delivered and the box isn't there, check with your neighbours and your local carrier first — that solves it most of the time. If it doesn't, get in touch and we'll help you chase it. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or nobody could take delivery, we'll happily reship once you've confirmed the address, though we may need to charge shipping again.
Questions
Email info@prescotthoneyfarms.com or call (541) 977-8848. We're a small family operation, so you'll be talking to someone who actually packed your jar.
